Since before America was the “USA”, Gun Control has always been Elites versus those beneath them.
Gun Control is and always has been the Elites v. “Those People”.
George Washington – Ronald Reagan – Gavin Newsom – JB Pritzker, Chicago Illinois et al . . .

Reagan? – See The Mulford Act of 1967. Bad. Very bad. Innocent and honorable US citizens held to a guilty standard. (What Democrats are doing now to the same class of people.)
Newsom and Pritzker(2)? – Just watch the news today. Any, news today. Pritzker with his vile cut and paste deception (2) to take away rights:

“Representative Morgan” (Democrat Rob Morgan Northside Chicago Elite) “snatched up the Senate Bill in the House as the Chief Sponsor on 1/5/23 and presto, an Amusement Ride Safety bill finds itself morphing into a gun ban bill in hours. (2)
And Newsom, is the most haughty of them all with demands for a new Amendment to take away rights of the people. And there’s no doubt that it means the lower class people to Newsom. His actions during the Covid enslavement were purely defining. CHICAGO? Gotta keep “Those People” from their Constitutional Rights huh?
Elites have never changed . . . Class Warfare has never changed.
While saying this or that about the poor (or indentured) the acts of the Elites are always the same. The lower classes cannot truly possess liberty and unencumbered freedoms. Ask any Gun Control politician today. Eh hem.
And infringing has always been their sights aimed low.

And how interesting that Behar bitches very Elite about GUN CONTROL. The hypocrisy in the higher voice is as ubiquitous as the smell after a bowel movement. No surprises that The View’s most vociferous Elitist stinks up the place on Gun Control.
White privilege?
While I, a white man, keep hearing so much about “white privilege,” it is the color blended and color blind family of Gun Owners and Second Amendment protectors (such as myself) that CRY FREEDOM for every citizen in the USA.
No matter the directional Elitist blather of usually white writers on gun control . . . Gun Ranges echo with the sound of freedom and liberty OF and FOR all.
Go and see for yourself. true “fact check” exists in testing what is said in the shadow of Lady Justice.
And the shadow of Liberty, freedom and Justice shines perfectly on everyone.

I grew up in a home with many, many firearms. And, with no doubt about it, those guns were well regulated by my dad. But “regulate” meant principle and rules and not about banning and confiscating. And every single citizen in the USA deserves the RIGHT to a principled, honest and honorable ownership of firearms. Any “infringement” of that needs to be seen in the light of dishonesty first. And challenged always.
When it comes to racism, or “whiteness,” about gun ownership, that sick and twisted view needs to be called out for what it is diseased thinking and/or ELITISM of the author and purveyor of that charge.
