A social safety net is NOT Socialism. In “socialist” countries, the populace is always under threat of violence and oppression.

The most sickening fact about Marxist revolutionaries, is that they use the freedom they possess in democratic and free countries to win elections and then force Marxist oppression on the duped populace once they have power. History testifies to this indisputable fact.
Death of the First Amendment first . . . then the the Second Amendment.
Only the nastiest people take away the freedom of speech of others. While socialists talk about “all of us in this together,” any dissenting voice is taken away by mob rule, boycott, false charges, academic intimidation or simply violent acts.
It’s easy to see and hear a Marxist, they accuse, charge and prosecute others for what they themselves are doing or want to do.
Gun owners are suffering this injustice. And not just in totalitarian and completely Marxist countries. In the USA, where Free Speech is cherished, gun owners are suffering freakish harm by their detractors. – – – – And the poor suffer the most. As usual.
If one thing Socialism glaringly doesn’t do, it’s help the poor. But hypocrisy is always present in liars. And Marxists are always liars at first. It’s in the breed. Marx didn’t hide that actually.
Denying free speech is even worse than gun control, because the taking away of, or the denial of free speech is so heinous and lethal it silences and dehumanizes all of us. It is the tool to all horrors ever committed against fellow human beings.

99.99% of gun owners are honest, ethical and good citizens. And for the stupid in our opposition , , , that means legal gun owners. And “legal gun owners” being the Second Amendment kind.
But with the brainwashed zombies frenzied and fanatical about taking down the NRA (millions of honest and decent U.S. citizens), they don’t see mob rule and propaganda taking over for the justice system, oh know, they only see rage and anger in their own minds.
Marxism is always promoted first in promises of utopia (to the poor) and when rejected . . . in screaming and threats and violence.
Anyone with a positive stance about free speech and of course gun ownership is shouted down and vilified.
We must stand against this hatred for what it is. Lies and hate. We must protect the First Amendment with all of our speech, heart, mind and action.
Gun Owners MUST speak out against the dishonesty of the anti-gun voices using the media, mob rule, school system, egotist-billionaires, and pure lies to define us.
Oh the rich? Ever notice how THEY thrive in Marxist environment?
The gun confiscators (oddly self-identified as Progressives, Liberals and The Woke) stand in stark opposition to the Constitution of the United States. Implementing – of course – the silencing of all contrasting voices to their demands.
And by the so-called Press and “news” media.
Throughout human life on this planet, the denial of speech to others has been the first tool of horrors used to mete out the worst experiences lived.
What we are seeing now, is that honest voices are silenced for political and societal power.
Silenced by people of ill will and ill intentions.

We are being silenced by many means, and that needs to be opposed by reclaiming Freedom Of Speech. Anyone, or any group that silences dissent is dishonest, unethical, immoral and deadly.
Good people have always embraced the free and equal exchange of opinions and rights of others.
